Your Business, with the Surcharge Credit Card Processing option, when a customer purchases $100.00 in goods or services, a surcharge fee of 3.0% is automatically calculated by the credit card terminal and a credit card surcharge fee of $3.00 is displayed on the customer’s receipt. The customer now pays $103.00 with their regular credit card of choice. If your customer does not want to pay the surcharge fee, an alternative is available. The customer may avoid the surcharge by paying with cash or by debit card. Then the sale of $100 is only the $100.00 on the customer’s purchase receipt total. Your business is responsible and charged for all debit card processing fees. Thus, considerable savings for both your business and the convenience of your customer paying with a debit card or cash. Corporate Debit cards are typically 2.00%, but that is still much less than the normal 3.00-4.00% when accepting Corporate Credit Card payments.
